As of today, 25. February 2025, Google Adsense will be removed from https://c64g.com.
Google acts like a dictatorship, trying to silence opinions and punish people who don’t do what they say.
I will not support this any longer.
As a result I’m personally de-googling as much as I can.
I have deleted my Google Developers account and many Google services and accounts, my Youtube account with 51 videos, my Adsense and Ad Manager accounts, my Youtube partnership and much more.
I will not support a dictatorship and censorship.
I’m going to setup alternative infrastructure and develop alternatives to Google services.
This will all take a lot of time, energy and money.
I’m seeking alternative methods of monetization, without betraying the “No dictatorship, no censorship” motto.
At the same time I’m trying to pay the server bills and have create a “buy me a coffee” page.

I’m a tea drinking type, coffee isn’t my thing, I only occasionally drink one.
The server costs are a bit below 33€ per month, which is on the cheaper side all things considered.
I would also very much appreciate some support for continued development of this site, because so far development is halted, because of no funding and Google Adsense didn’t even earn enough to pay the server bills.
Let’s change this.
How nice would it be if everyone would see game images and potentially also a short video giving a first impression of the game?
How would you like to create or add games to collections?
Would you like to see how often a game was downloaded?
All this requires manual labor and is time intensive.
Please help making it a reality.
